Focus: Sertoma's primary focus has been in assisting children with speech and hearing disorders. Sertoma also aids other community projects including those that assist youth.

Tampa East Sertoma, serving Hillsborough County, was chartered in 1965.
Sertoma: Sertoma is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit international service club represented by men and women dedicated to SERvice TO MANkind.
Founded: Sertoma was founded in 1912 in Kansas City, Missouri and is the third largest civic service organization. Sertoma clubs now total more than 800 throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Sertomans come from a host of different backgrounds but share a common mission in serving others.
Members volunteer their time and talents as well as raise money for several local non-profit organizations.
Tampa East members are dedicated to serving the less fortunate and giving back to their community. These principles have been, and continue to be, the foundation of Tampa East Sertoma.
The club has provided almost $2,000,000 and more than 200,000 volunteer hours to local charities. It is the largest Sertoma Club in the Tampa Bay area.
